The Shooting For Peace Program and Everfi Partnership
Shooting For Peace is a community education program led by NBA player and global ambassador Jerome ‘JYD’ Williams and basketball Legends. The program brings communities together through digital education, creativity, leadership and sports. Dozens of current and former NBA take part in Shooting For Peace activities every year.
EverFi is an education technology leaders that has partnered with Shooting For Peace to power critical skills education opportunities to students across North America. EverFi has trained over 18 million students at 20,000 K-12 schools and maintains deep relationships with the NBA, its teams, and numerous alumni.
Below one can see the stats of how the Shooting For Peace Program and Everfi partnership has impacted a child’s life many different ways. The stats show scholarship monies offered from various institutions, awareness raised, and the number of students that have gone through the digital education courses. However, there is so much more to be done. We are constantly working with companies like Dubl B Marketing that helps with the program awareness, Pro Source that helps with apparel and signage, and other various ideas that are implemented to raise money that goes towards keeping this program active throughout the world.
