Jerome Williams, President of the NBRPA Las Vegas Chapter, and other basketball legends continues to give back to the community outside of a Shooting For Peace event. The event was covered by the Champions Basketball Network and an article can be seen below
Jerome along with James “Hollywood” Robinson, Rushia Brown, and Carolyn Swords visited Touro University in Henderson, Nevada. Hollywood is a former NBA player and helped out with the Young3 all summer. Rushia and Carolyn are players for the Las Vegas Aces WNBA team. They held a camp for kids with autism, about 75 kids participated in the camp and couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear. At this camp they instructed the kids on how to play basketball starting with the basics like dribbling and passing. Jerome, Hollywood, Rushia, and Carolyn all signed autographs and took pictures with the kids as well as cracking jokes, telling stories and making the youth smile. It was great for these kids to get active and be instructed by some very intelligent people, they’ll cherish this moment for quite awhile.
Jerome Williams continues to do phenomenal things for the community, showing that there are great people in this world.
